WHAT IS INCLUDED IN MY FILM?

Our 10-15 minute feature films incorporate all the elements of your day- from getting ready to your ceremony to your reception. Every wedding is different, making every feature film we make different. A few weeks before your wedding, we will discuss any unique elements you are planning ( first looks, exchanging letters) but we are ready for anything!  You can browse through our FILM portfolio to find some samples of past feature films.

DO YOU OFFER BOTH VIDEO AND PHOTOGRAPHY?  

We do!  There is something so special about having the same artistic minds working on both your photos and your videos.  It really helps making the photos and video seem like one in the same.  Show casing the same type of vibes, emotions, colors, editing, and more.  Depending on the package you choose, we will have 2 or 3 people there all with very specific roles in documenting your day. Check out our PACKAGES section to get an idea of what we offer. 

WILL I STILL NEED TO HIRE AN ADDITIONAL PHOTOGRAPHER? 

It depends.  If you choose to go with package #3 ("The Works") we have you completely covered, no additional photographer needed. Package #2 excludes coverage of the ceremony and group photos, so we highly reccomend hiring an additional photographer as well. 

WHAT IS THE PERSONAL WEBSITE? 

The personal website hosts everything from your wedding day. Your full feature film, a gallery of your photos, the full reception speeches, and funny or poignent clips that didn't make it into your final video. For an example, check out: http://www.chuckbandco.com/thenovaks

DO YOU TRAVEL?

We LOVE to travel for weddings.  In fact, even though we are based in California, we shoot most of our weddings out of state. Minnesota, South Dakota, Africa, we are always up for an adventure.  There is an additional fee for travel expenses. Email us for details

WILL YOU TELL US WHAT TO DO, HOW TO ACT, OR DIRECT US ON OUR WEDDING DAY?

When we are filming your day, we like to be as unobtrusive as possible. Its always our goal to capture the genuine moments and because there is so much raw emotion behind every wedding day there is never any need to recreate scenes.  Trust us, you will hardly even notice we are there. That said, the quality of our films also depends on good light and clean sound, so if you’re getting dressed in the dark, we may ask you to move to a lighter area of the room, open the blinds, etc. Or we may ask that you turn down music at certain times during the getting ready process ( putting on gown, first looks, exchanging of gifts etc) 

Ok, I'm interested... NOW WHAT?

Once you’ve determined we’re a good fit, we require a deposit, which will reserve your wedding date. The remaining balance is due 2 weeks prior to your wedding. Once we receive the deposit, we’ll create and email a Wedding Film or Photo Agreement. It will outline all of the nitty gritty! You can return the signed agreement either by email or snail mail.  Whichever is easiest for you! We accept both credit card or check.
